BC Dogwood Graduation Program<\/a><\/h3>

Most students at Franklin School will complete the BC Dogwood Graduation Program. The BC Certificate of Graduation or \u201cDogwood Diploma\u201d is awarded to students who successfully complete the provincial graduation requirements. In order to graduate, students must pass specific courses. Overall, each student must acquire 80 credits from a combination of required courses, elective courses, and the Graduation Transitions program.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

AP Programs at downtown Vancouver<\/h3>

Franklin School is an AP secondary school located at the heart of Vancouver. We offer AP US History, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, AP Macroeconomics, AP English Literature, AP Physics 1, AP Calculus AB & BC, and so on. Thanks to our unparallelled strength language support and management, Franklin School has provided students with quality AP teaching from the very beginning of this program.

The AP programs are open to Grade 10-12 students. Students who qualify for the programs may apply in Grade 9 and 10. In the AP programs, students may choose courses according to their own honors courses and their interests.

English Language Support Program<\/h3><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

To support our diverse community, Franklin School provides a comprehensive English Language Support Program (ELSP). The ELS program allows our international students to advance their English language skills within our preparatory program offerings. Our inclusive and comprehensive language programs support the acquisition of English for students whose first language is not English.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

IELTS Preparation Provided<\/h3><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Instructional support for English Language Support is provided for English language learners to increase their English language competency, providing them with the skills required to integrate successfully into the standard academic English program required for BC high school graduation, and preparing them for entrance to universities and colleges. This individualized support is offered through supplementary courses and\/or small group tutoring. Support is also provided within the regular classroom setting through differentiated instructional methods.
